Director and his vision Overland Escape is run by eight members
in its Leh and Delhi offices. We have six professional cooks
from Nepal specializing in local, Indian, Chinese, Continental
and Italian cuisines. Tour Guides: We have a list of best
tour guides with in-depth knowledge and experiences at par
with international standard.

Tundup Dorjey, Director: A post graduate in Tourism (1998) from Pondicherry Central University started the company with a vision to excel in offering professional service and support taking care of each and every client. By virtue of his dedication and outstanding management skills the company, over the years, has made a name in tourism picture known for its credibility, accountability and services. Tourism developments have always posed a threat to the fragile ecology of Ladakh. Realisation of the importance of preserving environment led Mr. Tundup to base company on a strong policy ‘Tourism with Care for Nature’. He himself leads garbage cleaning campaigns organised exclusively by the company at the end of tourist season and vehemently supported and practiced the concept of ‘Homestay’ system introduced in many tourist areas of Ladakh to the extent that the company could claim to be pioneering in this endeavour towards sensible tourism. |

Kunga Namgyal: is the Branch Manager of our Delhi office. He has the experience of over five years with Overland Escape enabling him efficiently handle the services to our clients from Delhi.

Rinchen Dolma: is the Editor of Reach Ladakh, the pioneering web portal giving daily news and other important information on Ladakh, a sister concern of Overland Escape. She is also the media advisor of the company handling advertisements, public relations, drafting importing documents etc.

Tashi Lhargyal: He has been associated with Overland Escape for the past eight years and deals with the accounts section of the company. He looks after the cash payment and clearances, keeps account of bank details of the company and maintains records of credit and debit accounts of clients and employees.

Tsewang Lobzang: Manager Operation deals with customer services, direct dealing with the clients maintaining records of clients and services. He takes care of travel packages at local level such as trekking, taxi arrangements and gives personal attention to every need of the clients. He is on toes all the time, playing his crucial part for the company. |

Tashi Lhamo: She sits at desk and maintains files and all the details, attends to letters, enquiries through e-mail and telephone fixing up packages as per tourists’ needs. Hers is a vital role of keeping the company abreast with every new package coming in and basically establishing a crucial link. |

Urgyan Dolker: Chief Receptionist, and also deals in ticketing of domestic flights and train. She is the one arranging for ponies, and much more such as guides, cooks and drivers. Urgyan even at times keeps track of clients’ details, basically performing efficient multitasking in absences of other people. |

Phuntsog Dolma: she is the one who takes care of everyone in the office with her delicious lunch and refreshing teas in between breaks. Phuntsog also ensures that the office space looks neat and clean all the time. |

Wangyal Dorjey: The Store Keeper as the name suggests he keeps in his safe custody all the gears and other essential items needed for trek and tours, giving and collection of these items from guides, cooks and helpers on completion of a trekking and other things are handled by him. Being an ex-army soldier he performs his task with great efficiency, discipline and sincerity. |
