After breakfast, drive to Kargil, en route, visit Dha-Hanu. The people who inhabit this area are considered as last of the Indo Aryan race, not only their attire is highly decorated with jewelry and flowers, their features are also quite distinct. We also visit Batalik, one of the most famous war front zones fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with Pakistan. Arrive Kargil by evening, enjoy the evening at leisure. O/N : Kargil.
After the Breakfast drive to Leh, enroute, visit Mulbek Chamba, Lamayuru monastery, Alchi monastery, Sangam, Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. Enjoy hot lunch at Lamayuru. Arrive at Leh by evening. O/N : Leh
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival check in to the hotel/camp/guest house. Post lunch, enjoy camel safari (double humped camel which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. After breakfast drive to Thang (the last village of India on India-Pakistan border) this village was captured by Indian Army in the war of 1971 from Pakistan, enroute visit Turtuk and Tyakshi. O/N :Nubra Valley.
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N : Pangong Lake.
In the morning after breakfast drive to Hanle, on the way cross Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 Ft), Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border, India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma ray telescope, here. Once complete, the Major Atmospheric Cerenkov Experiment Telescope gamma ray telescope under construction here, will be the world's largest telescope at the highest altitude and the second largest gamma ray telescope in the world. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition on Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at local guest house/homestay. O/N : Hanle
In the morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri Lake via Nurpa Pass (16,100 Ft) continue drive to Tsomoriri Lake, en route cross Loma bend and Mahe Bridge. Arrive Korzok village by late noon. Evening is at disposal to walk around the Lake and enjoy the scenic beauty. O/N : Korzok
Morning after breakfast leave to Leh by a different route via Puga (Sulphur Mine) and Polakongka pass 15892 ft, Tsokar Lake and Taklang La Pass 17,585ft, one of the Highest motorable road in the world. Arrival at Leh by late evening. O/N : Leh
After breakfast visit the Leh Palace ,Shanti Stupa and Leh Market. Later afternoon free for shopping. Overnight in Hotel.
Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey Ends.
