Himachal PradeshSituated in the trans-himalayan region of Lahaul Spiti, Himachal Pradesh offers some of the best tourist spots especially in summers when most states of India experience hot weather. This state in Northern India has mighty snowy peaks, misty forests, lakes and meadows. Shimla, once the capital of British Raj and Dharamsala, residence of Dalai Lama, lies on the foothills of Dhauladhar Mountain. The state is famous for its culture, temples, landscape, tradition, mountainous view, people and art. Snow closes many mountainous areas from November to April, including the mountain valleys of Lahaul and Spiti. But it welcomes the season of Skiing around Shimla & in Kullu Valley.


DelhiNew Delhi is the cosmopolitan capital of India. Delhi has always had a mysterious eternity, the city having witnessed empires rise to glory and fall to ashes. The Contemporary, Delhi is a culmination of seven cities built by different emperors. Ruins of this ancient city are found even today and now these are converted to some major tourist attractions. Delhi is the best place to shop for all the shopaholics. Delhi can be visited any time of the year. Delhi is connected to every corner of India by air, rail, and road and is the second most widely used entry point into the country since it is connected by all major airlines. Among some spectacular historic sites, the most prominent ones are: Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Lotus temple, Humayun tomb and Rashtrapati Bhavan.
