Exotic HimachalPopularly known as the Devbhumi – "Land of the Gods", Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful hill state in India, nestles in north-west region of western Himalayas. The state is landlocked with the Tibetan plateau to the east, Jammu and Kashmir to the north, and the Punjab to the west. A vast tracts of high-altitude Trans-Himalayan desert to dense green deodar forests, from apple orchards to cultivated terraces, from snow capped high Himalayan mountain ranges to snow fed lakes and gushing rivers.
Day 1 - Drive to Shimla from Chandigarh and check-in to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Shimla. This morning proceed for a wonderful excursion to Kufri, famous for its trekking and hiking trails. In Kufri, enjoy a walk through thick cedar woods to Mahasu Peak for an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas. You could take an enjoyable pony or yak ride around the park on your own. In the evening visit the Mall Road, Scandal Point and Christ Church. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3- Shimla – Local sightseeing in and around Shimla, Visit Jakhu Temple - Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Jakhu temple is a century old spiritual edifice. Situated at the highest peak of Jakhu hill. You can visit The Viceregal Lodge - Located on the Observatory Hill at the western end of the Shimla ridge (4 km), The Viceregal Lodge is a humongous structure ringed by tall pines. It was built in 1888 as the residence of Viceroy Lord Dufferin. In the evening on can spend a leasure time on the Mall Road. O/N Hotel .
Day 4 - Shimla To Manali (280 kms / approx. 8 hour drive)- This morning you will proceed on a breathtaking drive to Manali, nestled on the banks of the River Beas amidst Kullu Valley. Visit to the Kullu Shawl Factory or Vishnu Mata Temple. On arrival into Manali, check into your hotel. Enjoy the walk on The Mall Road and have a relaxed evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 - Manali - Proceed on a half day tour of Manali, situated in the Valley of Gods; a combination of natural splendor and rich cultural heritage. Visit the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. Then the 5000 year old Hadimba Devi Temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bhim of Mahabharat. It has a four - tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. Later drive to Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. Afternoon, the rest of the day is free for you to simply relax or explore the city of Manali on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 - Manali - Day Excursion to Rohtang Pass (51 kms / approx. 3 hour drive) - This morning proceed on an excursion to Rohtang Pass road via Solang Valley. The pass is open between June and October each year and is the gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. You could enjoy optional pony and horse rides. The evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7- Manali - Day Excursion on left bank of river Beas. Visit Nagar a heritage village, visit the Nagar castle, and Roerich art gallery at Nager. You may visit Manikaran Sahib on this day. A famous Sikh Gurudwara with hot water springs. Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.
Day 8 - Manali to Chandigarh (320 kms / approx. 9 hour drive) - Proceed to Chandigarh with wonderful memories of your tour. Our transport facility will drop you at a desired/ suggested location in Chandigarh. Overnight Hotel stay in Chandigarh.
Day 09-Transfer to Airport/Rly Station/Bus Stand.
