Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1330m)
Kathmandu is not only the capital city of Nepal but is also the capital of temples and hosts wonderful viewpoints, temples, traditional Newari villages, cultural and religious sites.On arrival at Kathmandu Airport, to be received by our office representative and transferred to the Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
Pashupatinath Temple: with its astonishing architectural, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. Regarded as the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world, Pashupatinath Temple’s existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly ornamented pagoda house the sacred Linga of phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple, which is also known as ‘The Temple of Living Beings’.
Swyambhunath: (Popularly known as Monkey Temple) Swyambhunath stupa is one of the most fascinating architectural jewels of the world. The great Stupa is said to have been built around 250 B.C. It lies about 3km west of down town Kathmandu. There are two different ways to reach for this site. One is from west side which is relatively short cut and other is from the east side where it’s leads to the main entrance with 360 steps leading all the way to top, where the most venerated Swyambhu Stupa stands-commanding a magnification view of Kathmandu valley and breathtaking panorama of the north eastern Himalayan range.
Bouddhanath: The Bouddhanath stupa is the largest in Nepal, its massive white dome looms over concentric ascending terraces and presents as impressive sight. There are 108 images of the Buddha set around the base of the stupa. Tibetan Buddhist monasteries are scattered all around and a large Tibetan community resides in the area. According to legend builders used dew to mix the mortar which they collected by spreading cloth on the ground as Kathmandu was reeling under a drought during its construction UNESCO has declared Bouddhanath a World Heritage Site as well.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara enroute rafting 2hrs
Drive to Pokhara and enroute enjoy Rafting for 2 hrs on Trishuli River. After the lunch continue drive to Pokhara, check into hotel and rest of time leisure. Overnight Hotel. (OR Fly from KTM to Pokhara)
Day 04: Full day tour in Pokhara
It is worth getting up early to drive Sarangkot or Shanti Stupa (Heaven gate for sunrise and sunset).This is a stunning vantage point from which to view the peaks of Fishtail, Annapurna south, Himchuli, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu Himal, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Butter fly Mountain and other many peaks, after splendid view drive back to hotel for breakfast. Spend rest of the day Boating on the Phewa lake including visit to Barahi Tempe, International Mountain Museum. Overnight Hotel.
Day 05: Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast fly to KTM and continue drive to Nagarkot 32km east of the Kathmandu city located at the elevation of 7200 ft. which offers 200 miles panorama of the Himalayans of Mt. Everest in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west, Arrival Nagarkot hotel for overnight & evening sunset view of Himalayan range (around 260 peaks) enroute stop at Patan for an hour for your lunch break)
Patan : The ancient city of Patan is known as the city of fine arts. The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. The diversity of the medieval culture that allowed both Hinduism and Buddhism to flourish has left a rich legacy of impressive sightseeing in this city for today’s visitors.
Day 06: Sunrise view from Nagarkot and Bhaktapur
Wake up early for sunrise & Himalayan views in Nagarkot. After Breakfast drive to Kathmandu, enroue visit Bhaktapur, city of Devotees and center of medieval art and architecture founded by King Anand Dev in 889 AD.Here visit Nyatpola temple, the most beautiful temple of Nepal, the 15th century palace of 55 windows, Golden gate and other place of Interest. Spend rest of time shopping. Overnight Hotel.
Day 07: Departute from Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu Airport to board your flight home.
