Overland Office Team

Tundup Dorjey, Director : The team is led by by Mr. Tundup Dorjey, who is a post graduate in tourism from pondicherry central university.By virtue of his dedication and outstanding management skills the company, over the years, has made a name in tourism picture known for its credibility, accountability and services. Tourism developments have always posed a threat to the fragile ecology of Ladakh. Realisation of the importance of preserving environment led Mr. Tundup to base company on a strong policy ‘Tourism with Care for Nature'. He himself leads garbage cleaning campaigns organised exclusively by the company at the end of tourist season and vehemently supported and practiced the concept of ‘Homestay' system introduced in many tourist areas of Ladakh to the extent that the company could claim to be pioneering in this endeavour towards sensible tourism.

Kunga Namgyal, Manager Product and Contracting : He joined Overland Escape in the year 2000. After about ten years of successful tenure at Delhi office Mr Kunga Namgyal is now taking care of product development and contacting and besides he is also looking at the operations of North India.

Tashi Lhargyal, Cashier : He has been associated with Overland Escape for the past eight years and deals with the accounts section of the company. He looks after the cash payment and clearances, keeps account of bank details of the company and maintains records of credit and debit accounts of clients and employees.

Tsewang Lobzang, Manager Operation : deals with customer services, direct dealing with the clients maintaining records of clients and services. He takes care of travel packages at local level such as trekking, taxi arrangements and gives personal attention to every need of the clients. He is a person with extremely high level of energy all the time, playing his crucial part for the company.

Tashi Lhamo, Tour Executive : A workaholic by nature, takes care of the e-enquiries, provides costing and solution to every programme. Hers is a vital role of keeping the company abreast with every new package coming in and basically establishing a crucial link.

Lobsang Choden, Tour Executive : He works as a tour executive. His work is mainly to handle queries via mails & phone calls that customers make. He customises existing packaages as per customers needs, make costing according to the itinery & fix tours for the clients.

Thupstan Phuljung, Accountant : He is the Accountant with Overland Escape. His task is to keep track of all sorts of financial transactions of the company. He takes care of billing, accounting and cash payments and ensures that everything is recorded in proper order. He performs his work with great sincerity and dedication and is a man of discipline.

Chamba Lotus, Manager Customer Care : He has been associated with Overland Escape for the past Tent years. He personally meet clients at their hotels and brief them about day to day program and makes sure that they don,t face any problem while travelling Ladakh.

Stenzein Dolkar (Tanu), Tour Executive : She has joined the company after completing her Master Degree in Commerce from Delhi University. She deals with the clients through mails and phone and answers to their queries, providing them with all required information about their traveling plan. She avail the clients with preferred tour packages and fixes tours for them.

Tsering Dolker : A graduate from Miranda House Delhi University, her job is mainly dealing with the clients directly over the phone and through emails. She handles client queries in the most effective way and provide them with the required information regarding their travel plan. She also provide the clients with preferred tour packages and fix tours for them.

Phunstog Angmo, Marketing Executive : She is a post graduate from Delhi University. Her work as a marketing executive includes designing of new tour packages, updating them on website from time to time, Company's brochure & advertisement designing, content writing, etc..

Karma Lobsang, Executive Resv and Operations : He is a graduate in B.Com from Mangalore University, Karnataka. His work includes reservation and blocking of hotel rooms for the clients & maintaining their file record in a proper order.

Nyima Wangmo, Tour Executive : She is a graduate in Bachelor in Science from NTR University . Her work includes handling queries of clients via mails and phone calls and provide them with the required information regarding their travel plan, customise existing packages as per customers needs , make costing according to the itinery & fix tours for the clients.

Tsewang Spalgon, Customer Care Executive : As a customer care executive, his work is to personally meet the clients & brief them about day to day program & make sure that they don't face any problem while travelling in Ladakh.

Tsewang Youdol, Executive Ticketing and Accounts : Her work as ticketing includes dealing with air tickets covering both domestic and international vis a viz train tickets at domestic level. She also has a role in managing the accounts in relation with tickets. She has a warm and welcoming gesture for your reception and to feed you with all relevant information within her field of expert.

Urgyan Dolker, Receptionist : is the first voice that many visitors will hear upon calling our office, she always has a warm friendly smile and greeting for all visitors to the office. She also deals in ticketing of domestic/international flights and trains. Urgyan even at times keeps track of clients' details, basically performing efficient multitasking in absences of other people.

Tsering Dorji, Customer Care Executive : As a Customer Care Executive, his work is to personally meet the clients & brief them about day to day program & make sure that they don't face any problem while travelling in Ladakh.

Lobzang Tsewang : Lobzang hails from Zanskar. A very charming nature, with his smile he makes your day. He has been working with us at our Delhi office since five years. He picks up and drops clients from the Delhi airport and work as driver. His passion and dedication towards work is appreciated by all. He is one of the honest person who knows how to make others happy.

Tundup Dorjey, Director: The founder and director of Overland Escape is Mr Tundup Dorjey, a post graduate in tourism from Pondicherry central university. By virtue of his dedication and outstanding management skills the company, over the years, has made a name in tourism picture known for its credibility, accountability and services. His extensive travel experiences has given him lots of insight knowledge about different cultural, social and economic backgrounds and moreover, many different ways of life around the world. These experiences have been invaluable asset for understanding the varied needs and interests of the clients. Realizing the biggest threat Tourism poses to the fragile environment, he started this travel company based on the policy “Tourism with Care for Nature”. He took the initiative of starting Annual Garbage Cleaning Campaign organised exclusively by our company at the end of every tourist season. He also vehemently supported and practiced the concept of 'Home stay' system introduced in many remote areas of tourist interest in Ladakh to the extent that the company could claim to be pioneering in this endeavour towards sensible tourism.

One of the top most and well know petrol engine mechanic in leh town, having great experience in bikes and vehicles maintenance, joins LBR in 2012 by finding much interest to work with tourist and craziness to explore Himalayas. Most of the times he remain with guided tours and got enough experience to deal with any kind of road side breakdowns which he manage to bring on the road again very easily.

He finished his graduation from Punjab University Chandigarh and join LBR from 2012 onwards. Doing good enough in guiding clients about Ladakh tradition & culture. Guiding our fixed departures tours, customs made tours and client transfer too from hotel to airport/station. Ambitious and a very friendly guide with full of knowledge in our team.

After finishing his graduation from Jammu University he join LBR in 2014 and he is the first appoint accountant by LBR. He is the swift guy dealing with all kinds of payment/ booking amounts and Statements of the company (Banks, Spare Parts, Staff salary) and maintains all accounting and financial transactions.

Tsewang Namgail (Mechanic/ Road Captain)

He was born in a beautiful village of Temisgam in west of Ladakh and his passion brought him to Leh. He is a gentle guy working in mechanical field since from inception of LBR, so got an long term experience and doing every work in perfect way for client satisfaction and explain enough to the client about how to use given tools & spares. Drives backup vehicle too and is always prepared for any emergency that may occur on the ride. In short he is first-class in everything from mechanic to guiding.

Gurmat has worked in travel industry for past many years as an office manager and doing trekking in some of the remotest places of Ladakh and later work in some bike rental company and time teach him so many thing and obviously he learn many things from it and one thing is that when he kick start his “dream ride” which makes him freak ever and his mind was set up for the same field and by the coming time he shape out ‘Ladakh Bike Rental’ as professional rental company and today he don't only ride but support others for their dream rides. He himself deals with customers on mails and over phone calls for his/her best adventure. Riding is my passion and Renting is my profession.
