Dosmochey is celebrated in Leh (Leh Palace), Liker (Lower Ladakh) in February. The most famous among all is Leh Dosmochey, which will be celebrated for two days at Leh Chokhang on 21 and 22 February 2020. The monks from different monasteries perform the Chams (mask dance) every year turn by turn. The festival takes place at the end and starting of the Tibetan New Year. Leh Dosmochey concludes with the burning of Storma, dos, symbolizing driving away of evil spirits for peace and prosperity in the coming year.
